So, like, seven Russian tourists got really sick after chowing down on some wild fruit in a park in Surat Thani, down south, on Sunday. Apparently, five of them had to be rushed to the hospital. The Bantakhun-Phanom rescue foundation got a call around 1:33pm about these poor tourists feeling all woozy and stuff at Khao Na Nai Luang Dharma Park in Phanom district.

The tourists were, like, half-conscious, complaining about chest pain, and throwing up all over the place. Five of them were like, “Okay, I guess I’ll go see a doctor now.” The rescue workers then took four of them to Phanom Hospital. Two of them were drooling like crazy, and the other two were, like, puking their guts out. Another tourist was taken to Bantakhun Hospital because of chest pain and, you guessed it, more excessive vomiting.

The police said that this group of Russian tourists rolled up in a fancy chartered vehicle all the way from Khao Lak, in Phangnga province. And then, during their little trip to the park, they decided to snack on some ebony fruits, which apparently did not sit well with their stomachs. Local health officials were, like, trying to figure out what kind of poison these fruits were carrying.

Two of the tourists were, like, super dehydrated and had to be closely monitored at Phanom Hospital. The fruit that they ate was, like, not agreeing with their bodies at all.

So yeah, that’s the scoop on these poor Russian tourists who had a not-so-fun day out in the park. Hope they feel better soon!
