The Ministry of Culture revealed the results of the Top Mother’s Day Poll 2567, which highlighted the most popular phrases heard by children from mothers. The poll was conducted by the Ministry of Culture in collaboration with Suan Dusit Poll from Suan Dusit University, surveying the opinions of children, youth, and the general public regarding National Mother’s Day in 2567.
From a sample group of 20,520 children, youth, and individuals nationwide, it was found that the top phrases heard by children from their mothers on Mother’s Day were: “Are you hungry, have you eaten?” at 55.54%, followed by “Take care of yourself” at 49.46%, and “How far have you gone/when will you be back?” at 40.96%.
Moreover, when asked about their favorite mother-child pairs, the results showed that celebrity mother-child duos like Mom Chomphoo with Nong Sai Fah, Nong Payu, and Mom Af with Nong Pee Nai were the most popular at 36.06%. This was followed by YouTube and influencer mother-child pairs like Little Monster Family with Jin and Ren, Mom Pakawon with Sliders, Mom Oi with Best Kamasing, and Mom Pupae with Nong Chet Tom at 23.98%, and athlete mother-child pairs like Mom Phrosawan with Jee Chanathip, Mom Somrudee with Nong Pluemjit, and Mom Tim with Tong Kwint at 19.01%.
When asked how they would show gratitude to their mothers as children, the responses included: taking care of their mothers (78.17%), focusing on studying or working hard (58.86%), and behaving well in society (54.78%).
Children, youth, and the general public acknowledged the importance of social work and collaboration to address increasing social issues, emphasizing the need for genuine efforts from all parties. They also highlighted the significance of sharing happiness and helping others in need.
Additionally, the survey revealed that the most cherished memories between children and their mothers included hugs, the love mothers give, and the delicious meals prepared by mothers. The care and attention from mothers since childhood, spending time together as a family, traveling with mothers, the guidance and affection mothers provide, and various moments shared with mothers were all valued by respondents.
In conclusion, the Ministry of Culture, in partnership with Siam Paragon Shopping Center, public and private organizations, and cultural networks, will host the “Pra Patra Boromaratchiniyat” event from August 12-18, 2567, in celebration of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 12th cycle birthday anniversary. The event will feature exhibitions, Thai National Fabric Day, CPOT cultural product distribution, cultural art demonstrations, cultural performances, and a fashion show showcasing contemporary Thai clothing.
